Team 4 Dawg Flite Has Competed in the 2009 and 2010 DockDogs National Championships
| In October, 2009, DockDogs held their National Championship in Mason, Ohio. In order to participate in the National Championship, a dog must be titled. Since Spud is titled in Big Air and Sally is titled in Big Air, Speed Retrieve, and Extreme Vertical, both Sally and Spud qualified for this huge event. Spud jumped in the Master Division Big Air, and Sally jumped in the Senior Division Big Air, Turbo Division Speed Retrieve, and Cadet Division Extreme Vertical. In addition, since Sally is titled and ranked in all three disciplines, she qualified to participate in the Iron Dog competition. This meant she had to jump again in Big Air, Speed Retrieve, and Extreme Vertical, but this time as an Iron Dog. Neither Sally nor Spud made the finals in any of their divisions, but they sure had a great time jumping with the other 313 dogs that participated in this spectacular event. |
At the Awards Banquet, Sally received a very prestigious award.
2009 Top Ranked National Extreme Vertical Dog for Zone 5
That means she was ranked as the #1 dog in Extreme Vertical for the entire Southeast. This is her certificate.

Here are some photos showing Sally and Spud jumping during the National Championships.
