Sally Earns National Award
At the 2009 National Championship, Sally was awarded the
DockDogs 2009 Top Ranked National Extreme Vertical Dog for Zone 5.

At only 3 years old, Sally is the founding member of Dixie Dock Dogs. Back in the summer of 2007, she was the first Dixie Dock Dog to try her hand....er, uh, paw....at dock diving here in the Atlanta area. From the start, we could see she was a natural. Her very first jump off the dock was estimated at a whopping 12 feet! Here is one of those first jumps that day:

Sally's Personal Best jump of 21' was at the Ole Mill Crank-Up in Sanford, N.C. in May, 2009. Here is that jump which was the second leg of a Regional Master Title for Sally.

In addition to Big Air and Speed Retrieve, Sally also does the third sporting discipline of Extreme Vertical. She earned her EV Cadet Title at the BuckMasters Expo, Montgomery, Alabama, in August, 2009.

Recently, Sally has begun doing some field work so she can get her Junior Hunt Title. She is working at Pacesetter Kennel and doing a great job retrieving birds both in the field and water. Currently, she is doing single retrieves, delivering to hand. We plan on her entering her first AKC Junior Hunt Test in the Spring, 2010.
When Sally is not dock diving or doing field work, she enjoys training, playing with Spud and Hoppy, going for rides in the car, and getting belly rubs. She also likes to go to her doggie day care, Pawtropolis. There, Sally has lots of friends and gets lots of play time and even swim time in the pool.

Sally also enjoys going to the lake for a fun ride in her mom and dad's pontoon boat. This boat is actually where Sally did her very first dive into water.
